Mercedes-Benz Maintenance Service

At Mercedes-Benz, we understand the importance of a safe and comfortable journey to drivers. That is why we offer Maintenance Service Plan to keep your vehicle at optimum condition.

Maintenance service includes “Service A” and “Service B”. Please follow the service indicator light to conduct service session once every 12 months or for every 12,000 kilometres1 travelled to ensure the best care for your Mercedes in the most efficient manner.

Service A

Checklist: 40 items2

Service scope includes:

Cabin (hardware and electronic system)
  • Check function of control units with Mercedes-Benz XENTRY Diagnostic
  • Delete fault memory with Mercedes-Benz XENTRY Diagnostic (if applicable)
  • Check horn
  • Check indicator lamps in instrument cluster
  • Check interior illumination
  • Reset service indicator in instrument cluster
  • Replace A/C combination / interior compartment dust filter (if applicable)
  • Replace A/C dust filter in engine compartment (if applicable)
  • Check battery for KEYLESS-GO Key (if applicable, excluded parts)
  • Replace battery for KEYLESS-GO Key (if applicable, excluded parts)
  • Check charging cable for mechanical damage (if applicable)
  • Check charging socket for mechanical damage (if applicable)
  • Check starter (if applicable)
  • Clean seal on Vario roof (if applicable)
  • Apply lubricant to seal on Vario roof (if applicable)
  • Vario roof: Clean weather seal (if applicable)
  • Vario roof: apply lubricant (if applicable)
Wheels and Brake
  • Check tyre condition
  • Check wheels for damage
  • Check wheels for crack formation
  • Correct tyre inflation pressure
  • Test brake on test stand
  • Test parking brake on test stand
  • Check thickness of front and rear brake pads
Trunk
  • Check trunk lighting
  • Check expiry date of TIREFIT tire repair kit (if applicable)
  • Check spare tire pressure (if applicable)
  • Correct spare tire pressure (if applicable)
  • Check expiry date of first aid kit
Engine Compartment
  • Change engine oil and filter
  • Check engine compartment air flap (if applicable)
Fluid Level
  • Check brake fluid level
  • Fill in brake fluid (if applicable, excluded parts)
  • Replace windshield washer system fluid
  • Check AdBlue level (applicable to diesel model only)
  • Fill in AdBlue (if applicable, excluded parts)
Battery
  • Check battery condition
  • Check Starter battery condition (if applicable)
  • Check Backup battery condition (if applicable)
Exterior (lighting and hardware)
  • Check exterior lights for proper operation

  • Check seat belt buckles for external damages

  • Apply lubricant to seal on Vario roof (if applicable)

  • Check brake fluid level

  • Replace windshield washer system fluid
  • Check power steering fluid level
  • Fill in power steering fluid (if applicable, excluded parts)
  • Check AdBlue level (applicable to diesel model only)
  • Fill in AdBlue (if applicable, excluded parts)
  • Check active body control fluid level (applicable with this equipment)
  • Fill in active body control fluid (if applicable, excluded parts)
Battery
  • Check battery condition
  • Check Starter battery condition (if applicable)
  • Check Backup battery condition (if applicable)

  • Check wiper blades condition
  • Check headlamp range adjustment system (excluding Xenon headlamp)

Vehicle Underchassis and Suspension System
  • Check all visible parts for leaks
  • Check all visible parts for damage
  • Check condition of flexible coupling
  • Check play of front axle ball joints

  • Check play of drag link linkage
  • Check track rods rubber boots condition
  • Check condition of suspension struts / shock absorbers and springs
